“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite potential and/or experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) in relation to Supply of engineering, procurement and construction services for Improving Greywater Management at Core Processing Facility Project.
[An EOI is only a preliminary step to a formal tender process to understand and identify whether there are potential suppliers in the market that are interested in and capable of satisfying the procurement needs.]
Scope description:
The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following work:
Engineering:
- Sludge Separation System” (Decanter Centrifuge) with a capacity of ~20 m³/day of process water: The Contractor shall develop the engineering design for a complete sludge separation system that will process slurry and process water generated from the operation of the “Core Processing Facility”.The system shall be designed to fit within the existing saw room footprint or another feasible location proposed by the Contractor based on engineering assessment.
- Transfer pumps for conveying process water containing fine suspended solids: The Contractor shall design and select suitable pumps capable of transferring the process water to the integrated treatment system. Pump models must be appropriate for slurry/fine‑solids service.
- Approximately 380 m long buried HDPE process wastewater pipeline (~80 mm diameter):The Contractor shall develop a complete detailed engineering design for the main transfer pipeline and associated tie‑ins, including connections to the planned process water treatment system, transfer pumps, existing sludge separation pit, and the integrated process water system.
Procurement: Supply all materials required for installation, including all equipment listed under the “Engineering” section and all necessary pipelines, in accordance with the approved designs as well as Oyu Tolgoi and Mongolian national standards.
Construction & Installation: Execute all works defined in the Engineering section—including welding, installation, foundation works, earthworks, backfilling—according to approved IFC drawings.
Additionally, NDT testing of pipelines, hydrostatic testing, flushing, and cleaning and the Contractor shall perform commissioning,
Documentation & Handover: Prepare and submit all required documentation, including as‑built drawings, QA/QC records, and the complete handover package to the Client.
Compliance Requirements: Full compliance with Mongolian laws, Company standards, and all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements is mandatory.
Project Location: South West side near to Central Heating Plant of the OT Mine Licensed Area, Umnugovi Province, Mongolia.
Interested and experienced suppliers are invited to submit their EOI and must include/attach, as a minimum, the following documentations/information:
Mandatory documents:
- State registration certificate (copy)*
- HSE policy & procedures (copy)*
- Business Code of Conduct (copy)*
- Audited Financial statement from last 3 years (copy)*
- Brief introduction of company (copy)*
- Ownership/ shareholder information such as Company charter (copy)*
- Executive team structure/ introduction (copy)*
- Organization structure & Total manpower (copy)*
Scope specific documents:
- Scope specific experience
- Customer reference (at least 1)
- Special licenses, ЗТ-3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 and БА-3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, (copy)
Any interested suppliers who wishes to participate in the EOI, must be registered in OASIS supplier database system. If you have not registered in the database, please register to OASIS system available at https://oasis.ot.mn/.
EOI documents must be prepared in Mongolian and/or English and must be submitted via OASIS supplier database system before 6.00 PM (Ulaanbaatar time), 14 March 2026.
Important notice:
- The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date & time.
- The Company will not accept any EOIs stored in internet storage or in any other webpages and links.
- The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company.
- There will be no Questions and Answers provided during the EOI process.
