Ulf Quellmann
Ulf Quellmann was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Oyu Tolgoi LLC in September 2018. Ulf is the Chief Executive Officer of Turquoise Hill Resources since July 2018. Before this appointment Ulf was Vice President, Strategic Projects, Copper and Diamonds at Rio Tinto and also Chief Financial Officer, Copper and Diamonds at Rio Tinto from 2016 to 2018. Before joining Rio Tinto in 2008, Mr. Quellmann had been with Alcan, based in Montreal, and with General Motors in both New York and London. During his time at Alcan, Mr. Quellmann held a variety of senior finance positions of which the most recent role was that of Vice-President, Investor Relations. At General Motors, Mr. Quellmann spent a few years at the Treasurer's Office in New York. He also worked at Vauxhall Motors, GM's United Kingdom subsidiary, for five years in various finance, marketing and general management roles.
