The opportunity

We are looking for one ( 1) Technician Condition Monitoring in Oyu Tolgoi Underground Fixed Plant Maintenance Department based at Oyu Tolgoi mine site with roster of 14 days on and 14 days off.

The purpose of this role is to provide technical services and support condition monitoring activities of the organisational unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team's objectives and targeted plan.

What the role entails

  • Perform NDT and condition monitoring inspection on the required equipment and components
  • Carry out Condition Monitoring activities of the plants and mobile equipment in field using relevant on-line and off-line data acquisition techniques and data analysis
  • Reports any major changes in equipment condition to direct supervisor
  • Actively participates in Reliability improvement programs (Defect elimination projects) and Root Cause Failure Analysis process of equipment as per requirement.
  • Adherence the statutory acts, regulations and consent conditions as per company established procedures / guidelines.
  • Participate in development of personal training strategies and undertake appropriate training modules.

What you will need for this role

  • Post-secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates (e.g. apprenticeship or trades certificate) or diplomas from academic or vocational training centres.
  • Maintenance, Engineering or experience trade qualifications in relevant experience typically achieved through vocational trainings and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training.
  • To have personally demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely.
  • Able to carry out administrative functions commensurate with the role.
  • Able to carry out condition monitoring tools and operate properly and carefully.
  • Proficient in Micosoft Office programs.
