The opportunity

We are looking for one ( 1) Senior Advisor Maintenance System Data in Oyu Tolgoi LLC-OTUP - Operational readiness department based in Ulaanbaatar.

The role is a multi-disciplined requiring strong knowledge and skills with SAP master data, maintenance planning, asset strategy/ tactic development using reliability-based methodology and provide governance using Core Unit Structure Standards.

What the role entails

Primarily, the Senior Advisor for Maintenance System Data will be responsible for:

  • Provide governance of core asset structure to new assets.
  • Identify, Develop, recommend draft Equipment Structure.
  • Development of Asset Navigational structure with Productive Unit & Maintainable Item Structure
  • Update HSE Location
  • Update Cost centre
  • Update Work centre
  • Update Planner Group
  • Create Construction Type
  • Create PM Assemblies
  • Review Asset System Development and provide QA/QC audits
  • Liaise with Procurement Purchasing & Sourcing group for the management of OR first fill materials
  • Working collaboratively with Asset Management & Ops Maintenance Teams.

Deliverables will include:

  • Asset Management strategy and systems that align with the long-term asset management direction
  • Provide leadership to Operational Readiness peers on OT Asset Management RTBS standards through active support and identification of opportunities for maintenance practices improvement.
  • Collaborate with BU Asset Management professionals to identify leading practice and improvement opportunities
  • The successful candidate will also be required to undertake the following tasks for their area
  • Development of best practices and tools for execution and management
  • Tracking of progress against defined criteria and milestones
  • Work with the functional and operational teams to create or refine deliverables
  • Liaise with stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Build, develop, and grow relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Ensure documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

What you will need for this role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance Engineers or relevant discipline is preferable
  • At least 5 years relevant maintenance planning/scheduling experience
  • At least 3 years experience with SAP
  • Understand and apply work management processes
  • Fluent use of English language, both written and oral
  • Ability to train others
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to RioTinto safety standards and OT policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and following prescribed safe work practices.
