Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (ot.mn) – A Mongolian employee from the Oyu Tolgoi mine site was allegedly attacked this morning by an assailant at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport.
Oyu Tolgoi employee is currently undergoing surgery.
“Our thoughts are with the victim and his family, at this time” said Oyu Tolgoi spokesperson.
There is no confirmation about the motive for the attack. Oyu Tolgoi is cooperating fully with the police in their investigation into the incident.
