Oyu Tolgoi implements six social operational management plans to mitigate its social impacts and risks identified under the integrated Environmental and Social Impact Assessment conducted in 2012.
These operational management plans describe how we will minimise and manage our social impact, as well as maximise positive benefits over the lifetime of the mine. It also provides a process to ensure that local communities are consulted in decisions we make throughout the life of the operation and project.
