We are looking for one (1) Officer Communications in Oyu Tolgoi LLC, External Affairs and Communications department based at Ulaanbaatar with the roster of 5 days on and 2 days off. This role is 6 months fixed term contract.

Guided by the company’s Vision, Mission, Values and Strategy, the role holder will proactively deliver the implementation of OT Mobile Experience Centre project by developing and executing tactical plans to effectively engage the select groups and public.

What the role entails

  • Support EA&C department activities with alignment to the company Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategy;
  • Contribute to the development of communications plans and deliverables;
  • Develop and execute OT Mobile Experience Centre engagement plans;
  • Maintain OT social media channels in relations to the Experience centre activities and with specific contents;
  • Contribute to the Media and Brand team activities

What you will need for this role

  • Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or university;
  • Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Public Relations, or related field (commensurate and relevant work experience may be considered as a substitute);
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in Communications, Public Relations, Stakeholder Engagement, or related field;
  • Extremely strong, proven experience writing, translating, proofing and top-notch copy-editing skills;
  • Must be a fast learner with a positive attitude;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a high level of discretion, diplomacy, and ability in managing conflict and gaining consensus;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with proven ability to effectively implement projects and build strong relationships both internally and externally;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and understanding of the criticality of the work that needs to be delivered;
  • With a strong focus on the quality and quantity of the deliverables;
  • Experience working in a multi-national company (in a multi-cultural communications and/or public relations agency ideal).
