Amarbayasgalan Dashnyam
Amar has been the Chief Counsel of Oyu Tolgoi since 2014 providing commercial legal advices across the business, managing legal and regulatory risks and supporting the business to comply with its legal obligations.
Amar joined Oyu Tolgoi in 2011 following a successful career with one of Mongolia’s leading financial institutions XacBank and TenGer Financial Group. Since then, Amar has worked as Senior Manager – Strategic Legal, advising the business on Oyu Tolgoi’s most important commercial transactions and strategic issues, while supporting the Board of Directors, Board Secretariat and senior management in implementing Oyu Tolgoi’s governance arrangements.
He holds a Bachelor of International law from the Law School of the National University of Mongolia.
